As we all know, the HTC Nexus 9 is the much awaited successor to last year’s Nexus 7 tablet. With precedence given to premium quality materials and hardware this time, this tablet has already made the rounds around the internet. And now, a new revelation made by @upleaks suggests that the tablet will break cover before the 9th of October. However, there are no specific details beyond this.
The Nexus 9 is expected to feature an all aluminum unibody design with an 8.9 inch QHD display, the NVIDIA Tegra K1 SoC, an 8-megapixel camera on the back and Android L. If this report is indeed true, we might get a look at Android L earlier than scheduled as the new OS was first expected to break cover in late 2014. If Google is launching the Nexus 9 before mid-October, it’s likely that the device will be packing Android L out of the box.
We still have some weeks of waiting to do though, so hopefully we’ll come across something new about the Nexus 9 by then. What do you think of the Nexus 9? Will it be your next tablet?
