LG G2 Can’t Send/Receive Pictures

Problem: I have an lg g2 phone I have it on straight talk I switch from droid x to lg g2 everything works great but I can’t receive or send pictures please help me if u can I love phone just would like this problem resolved thank you.

Solution: What’s probably happening here is that the MMS settings of your device haven’t been configured for the Straight Talk servers. Follow the steps below to manually set this up.

  • Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
  • Press the settings icon.
  • Tap the Networks tab.
  • Tap Tethering & networks.
  • Tap Mobile networks.
  • Tap Access point name
  • Tap the menu icon.
  • Tap New APN.

Enter the following data

  • Name: Straight Talk
  • APN: tfdata
  • Port: 80
  • MMSC: http://mms-tf.net
  • MMS Proxy: mms3.tracfone.com
  • MMS Port: 80

One easy way to set this up is to visit the Straight Talk website and have the settings automatically sent to your device. You will be asked for your phone number or the last 15 digits of your SIM card as well as the Android version of your device.

LG G2 Issue With Call Screen

Problem: The call screen won’t engage during a phone call…I dial the number on the dial pad and hit tell green send button…the screen appears to be loading for about 2secs before returning to the dial pad screen…subsequently, I can’t access speakerphone or hang up…please help.

Solution: This could be a software related issue. First try to check if there are any software updates for your device. These updates usually contain improvements and fixes that may help solve this issue. Next, you may want to do a hard reset on your device. This brings your phone back to its original state when you first turned it on. Be aware that this procedure will delete your data so make sure to make a backup copy.

  • From the Home Screen, Tap Apps.
  • From the Apps Tab, Tap Settings.
  • Tap Backup & Restore.
  • Tap Factory Data Reset.
  • Tap Reset Phone (Enter Password if Prompted).
  • Tap Erase Everything (This may take several minutes).

Once the hard reset has finished you should be able to normally make a phone call.

LG G2 “LGServer System Has Stopped” Error

Problem: I  cannot use my phone …….all it can do is displaying message (LGServer System Has stopped) on the screen  i can not go beyond that..whenever I touch some thing on the screen?  i wonder if you could give me an advice to fix it.

Solution: The quickest way to resolve this issue is to do a hard reset on your device. There are two ways of doing this which we will show below. Make sure to back up your data first before performing this procedure.

Using Settings Menu

  • From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
  • Tap System settings.
  • Tap General, scroll to ‘PERSONAL.’
  • Tap Backup & reset.
  • Tap Factory data reset.
  • Tap Reset phone.
  • Tap Erase everything.
  • Review the warning, and then tap OK.

Using Hardware Keys

  • Power off the device and ensure it is not connected to any USB cables.
  • At the same time, press and hold the following keys for 8 seconds: Power key, Volume down key
  • When the LG Logo is displayed, release and then immediately re-hold the Power key.
  • When the ‘FACTORY HARD RESET’ screen displays, release the keys.
  • Press the Power key to reset or one of the Volume keys to cancel.
  • Press the Power key to confirm the reset. The reset will start immediately.

LG G2 Weather Widget Stopped Working

Problem: So after I updated to 4.4.2 (I bought this G2 yesterday), the weather widget that comes default has stopped working. It was working perfectly before the update, but now it doesn’t even launch. When I try to add widget again, it says it needs to download “weather theme”, and after I click yes, it moves me to update applications page, and then nothing happens. I can see that it “tries” to download something (there is download thingy in bar where clock and other things are). When I check what it is doing, it uses 20 kb of RAM and no matter how long I wait, absolutely nothing happens. I tried to force shutdown and trying again, still nothing, I tried clearing the RAM, still nothing. I restarted whole phone, with no effect. When I leave the update page, download disappears from upper bar. I loved that widget, but I have no clue how to get it working again. I had to download another one to fill its spot, but its not so awesome looking as AccuWeather one.

Solution: Since you recently updated the software of your device it is important to do a master reset. This clears out any data left over from the previous version which may cause various issues. Make sure to back up your data first before ding this procedure.

Once the master reset has finished check for any app updates and update accordingly. Be sure to connect to a stable Wi-Fi connection when downloading.

Try not to use any aftermarket launchers first after all the apps have updated then check your Weather widget. It should be working normally this time.

LG G2 “Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped” Error

Problem: I’m getting this message after force stopping framework in order to get the KK update. Good news it worked. I received the KK update but now I’m getting this error at boot up. I’ve tried force stopping, clear data, clear cache on a bunch of the google apps but no luck. Almost all the google apps in the app drawer are showing a date of 12/31/1969. Even a factory reset doesn’t work. Any ideas?

Solution: If your device is already running on the latest software and you have already performed a factory reset then try clearing the cache and data of all keyboards you are using. Reboot your device then check if the error message still appears. Most people who have experienced this very same problem say that the issue gets resolved after this.
