Box is considered to be one of the more popular cloud storage services, and its Android companion app has just gotten a whole lot smarter with a new update. Among the notable changes with the update include the addition of Box Notes, which was a web only affair up until now. Users can edit, share and view documents using their Android 4.4+ devices, just as they would on the web version. Multi-user support is enabled as well, so you will be able to edit or modify notes in tandem with your friends/colleagues.
As for the app itself, there are some other crucial changes making its way with the update. One that you will immediately notice is the recently viewed list of files in the home section, which will allow you to quickly get back to a document you recently opened. The app also brings the ability to set permissions and link expiration dates straight from the app, so there’s a lot more than just visual changes available with this new update. It is being dubbed as version 3.2 of the app and will certainly bring a fresh new experience for the users. Make sure you update the app if a notification pops up or head over to the link below to download it directly from the Play Store.
