Android Wear is growing in stature with every passing day. One of the notable additions to the smartwatch platform was the Wear Mini launcher, which brought a dedicated app launcher to the smartwatch. This popular launcher has now received an update bringing the ability to set brightness along with the customary bug fixes as well.
Changing brightness is possible with a sliding bar that appears on the top when navigating towards the app drawer and users can slide it accordingly to adjust the display back light. This can be done with stock Android Wear as well, but it requires users to navigate towards settings and choose from the six shades of brightness offered by default. It’s good to see that Android Wear is already getting custom tweaks and improvements like these, which will make it even more appealing to customers.
This update to the Wear Mini launcher app also brings some fixes related to the Samsung Gear Live smartwatch, which will be welcomed by the users. If you own an Android device and are looking to get a dedicated app drawer for your smartwatch, hit the link below and let us know what you think.
