It seems like HTC is finding it difficult to stay away from trouble in this vastly competitive climate. A new report suggests that some more executives are leaving the company including the CMO, Ben Ho, who joined the company a couple of years ago. He was accredited to hiring Robert Downey Jr as the face of the company last year. Chairwoman Cher Wang has taken over the reins from Ben Ho, although he won’t leave the company until the end of the year.
Even the marketing expert HTC hired from Samsung, Paul Golden, appears to be leaving the company, although HTC were reportedly looking to keep him on board for longer. The President of Engineering and Operations, Fred Liu, is believed to be retiring after staying with the company for 16 years.
It’s certainly not looking good for the company with the departure of senior executives, but the sales of the One M8 might be the only positive for the company. HTC hasn’t confirmed if there will be any new executives joining the roster, but we might get to hear about it soon.
