Not too long ago, keyboard developer Minuum showed us a concept of a circular shaped keyboard for the Moto 360 smartwatch. And it seems like their plans weren’t just limited to one smartwatch, as the developers have now shown off the keyboard running on the LG G Watch. Unlike the previous announcement, this here is an actual working demonstration of the keyboard to give us a better idea of its functioning.
Even in its current form, it appears to be too cumbersome and small for people with thick fingers. It’s certainly not meant for speed typing, which defeats the purpose of a modern day keyboard. But it’s good news that the developer has worked to bring something like this to a relatively new platform and we hope to see a lot more of it in the coming days. The app will soon be available through Google Play but users can sign up at Minuum’s official site to have a go at the keyboard first hand.
Minuum also has a keyboard for Google Glass, which is quite innovative and looks to implement AR features in the future.
