The LG G Pad 10.1 tablet is now officially available for purchase through Best Buy for a decent $249.99. The tablet comes free of carrier obligations, so you can pick one up and take it home without much trouble. This comes after the 7 inch model of the latest G Pad series started making its way to the U.S. in June. LG began the global rollout of the tablet earlier this month, so its arrival in the U.S. was always expected. Global customers should find the tablet on local retail shelves in the coming days as well.
As suggested by the pricing, the G Pad 10.1 isn’t a high end tablet and will most likely suit budget customers more. It features a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 accompanied by a quad core Snapdragon 400 SoC. It has 1GB of RAM, packs 16GB of storage with a microSD card slot and comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.
There’s a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3-megapixel front camera for self portraits and video calls. We must admit, the pricing is pretty attractive for a device this size. So make sure you hit the link below if you’re interested in a large sized budget tablet. The listing mentions that the device is in stock and ships out within a day from the retailer’s warehouse, so you can have it before the weekend in any case.
