Sprint has just announced the addition of 28 new 4G LTE markets, while also bringing Sprint Spark to three new regions. While the carrier did not individually list down the regions which were getting 4G LTE signals from the carrier, it was specified that areas of Cleveland, San Jose and Seattle were the beneficiaries.
The carrier’s tri-band LTE service dubbed as Sprint Spark will be brought to St. Louis, Winston-Salem and Greensboro, N.C. So overall, it’s very good news for customers in the aforementioned areas as Sprint’s 4G LTE availability tally has now reached 471 cities and covers 225 million people.
The carrier also announced its new network satisfaction guarantee scheme which would essentially allow first time users of the network to try out Sprint’s services for 30 days. And if they’re not happy, they can get their money back in its entirety including activation charges as well as the cost of the device. Users will be able to sign up for this new promo starting June 27.
This is Sprint’s way of countering T-Mobile’s widely popular customer friendly Uncarrier promotions. It’s hard to tell if the Sprint service satisfaction guarantee will convince customers, but it’s a good promotion nonetheless.
