We recently came across a leak of the Moto X+1 smartphone from an online source, which also claimed that it was only part 1 of the five leaks that will be shared over the course of the days. Today, the part 2 of the series has leaked out, showing the smartphone enclosed in a plastic cover. This is apparently done so as to protect the leaker’s identity.
Although we learn nothing new about the device and it’s hard to tell if this is actually the real deal, the boot animation shown at the start of the video appears to be different from what we’ve seen so far on Moto devices. That’s pretty much the only bit of evidence we have right now to suggest that this is indeed the Moto X+1.
The video also shows off standard features like Active Display and notifications, which doesn’t look all that different from the Moto X. Given that the device is considered a successor to Motorola’s 2013 flagship, the smartphone is expected to pack a larger display with 1080p resolution, 2GB of RAM and three storage options just like the Moto X. The camera and the SoC still remain a mystery at this point, although we hope to gain info on that with subsequent leaks.
Have a look at the video below and let us know what you think.
