The Moto 360 will apparently break cover via Moto Maker just in time for the Moto X+1 launch according to a new report. There’s no clarification as to when this will be, but it shouldn’t be far away considering the time frame of the Moto X launch last year. The fact that the smartwatch will be made available through Moto Maker is welcome news and should make it convenient for users to get a smartwatch along with their new Moto X+1 right from one place.
The Moto X+1 is expected to be an upgraded version of the Moto X and we’ve already seen the device in a handful of leaks already, so we have a brief idea of what to expect. Rumored specs include a 5 inch 1080p display and a quad core Snapdragon 801 chipset or maybe a custom made chip like the X8 from the Moto X. It goes without saying that Motorola will stick with the stock Android experience for the UI, which should mean constant software updates for the foreseeable future.
