Last month, we saw HTC filing trademark for the One Remix moniker hinting that a handset carrying the name would surface soon. It was also revealed that the device would break cover via Verizon. And now, a press render of the said smartphone has been leaked out by the same source, thus confirming its authenticity. The smartphone here is shown to have the Verizon logo on the back and a body which looks very similar to the One Mini 2. This fits in nicely with the rumor which suggested that this device is nothing but Verizon’s variant of HTC’s latest mini handset.
There’s 4G LTE logo on the back as well, which means this could be a low cost LTE smartphone from Big Red. If the hardware of the One Mini 2 is anything to go by, we expect the One Remix to feature a 4.5 inch 720p display, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a quad core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and a 2,110 mAh battery.
There’s no confirmation that the One Remix is Verizon’s version of the One Mini 2, so take it with a grain of salt.
