Verizon launched the new range of the L Series smartphones back in February which included the L70 and the L90. The former has now landed on Verizon’s shelves as a prepaid offering but will be known as the Optimus Exceed 2 instead. Interestingly, it will only set you back by $79.99 off contract which is quite decent for a new handset. The device was leaked with Verizon branding back in late March, so it was only a matter of time before it went official.
The Optimus Exceed 2 comes with a 4.5 inch WVGA display, a 5-megapixel camera, a VGA camera on the front, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (expandable), a 1.2 GHz dual core Snapdragon 200 chipset, a 2,100 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. This is one of those rare cases of a low-end smartphone running the latest version of Android by default which is a very wise move by LG.
This is easily one of the best budget offerings being sold by Verizon right now and well worth the $80 price tag. If you prefer prepaid service and would like to get a cheap yet very capable device, hit the source link below.
