Earlier this month, Sprint started rolling out an update that brought HTC’s new Sense 6 interface to the One max. Today, the carrier is focusing on the original One flagship, bringing its software up to par with most of what we see on the HTC One M8. The update will bump the software version of the phone to 5.03.651.3, and should begin rolling out later in the day.
Sense 6 brings a refined user interface that is flatter and more colorful, improved BlinkFeed, a redesigned camera app (though without any Duo camera effects), Extreme Power Saving Mode, themes, and personalized fonts. The TV app will also be updated, and users should see an increase in performance as well, considering Sense 6 has been designed to be lighter than previous iterations.
The Verizon variant of the HTC One is also slated to get Sense 6 this week, though the rollout hasn’t yet started. The T-Mobile and unlocked/developer editions have already been enjoying all the Sense 6 goodness, and it shouldn’t be long before AT&T announces the update for its own variant.
Any of our readers using a Sprint HTC One seeing the update yet?
