Is Oppo working on a mini variant of its N1 smartphone, the one that featured a rotating camera? According to a new device listing at the FCC website, that would seem to be the case – the folks over at PhoneArena have discovered an Oppo N5116, which looks pretty similar to the N1 but sports a smaller screen and less powerful specs.
The screen resolution has gone down to 720p, which should be enough for the 5-inch screen but might not be sharp enough. Battery capacity has been reduced to 2,140 mAh, but the camera still remains a 13-megapixel unit, and by the looks of the pictures on the FCC website, is still accompanied by a swiveling mechanism. That means you’ll have a 13MP camera for both standard photos and selfies, which will likely continue to be the selling point for the N1 Mini.
Of course, there’s always the possibility that Oppo will launch this phone under a different name, though we’ll have to wait and watch for details on availability and pricing. Check out the pictures of the N5116 below.
