The Samsung Galaxy Tab S is expected to be launched on the 12th of June according to an event invitation sent out by Samsung not too long ago. But before the big reveal, it’s customary for some leaks to give us a better idea of the tablet. A new leak coming from a forum has done exactly that as it shows the bright and vivid AMOLED display of the tablet in action. Leaks prior to this have only shown the tablet with the display turned off, so this is quite a refreshing change from what we’ve seen over the past couple of weeks.
The back is exactly what we’ve seen before, so there’s not much to learn in that regard. However, the AMOLED display on board appears to be the highlight of the tablet as leaks have suggested. This also means that the device will have excellent viewing angles for better visibility even at a specific angle.
The Galaxy Tab S is expected to be made available in 10.5 inch and 8.5 inch variants, so Samsung will have a viable option for people who are looking for a tablet smaller than 10.5 inches. There’s still a couple of weeks to go before the tablet is announced, but we’ll hope to know more in the coming days courtesy of leaks.
