We have seen the Moto X+1 making its way into the leaks plenty of times over the past few weeks and it’s here yet again. Today we’re getting info that the smartphone might feature several back plate options, including the ones which are currently being offered via Moto Maker. Even leather back plates are reportedly going to be offered with this year’s flagship, so there will be a total of 25 back plates to choose from including the new range of wood back panels.
All this info was gathered from the source code of Moto Maker, so it’s coming straight from Motorola. The leak has also revealed that the smartphone will come in 16 and 32GB models with a 64GB variant expected to be added sometime in the future. There’s no word on the pricing at the moment, but it is said that the 32GB model would cost $50 more than the entry level 16GB variant. That’s plenty of information to go with as the device is still some distance away from launch.
It is expected that Motorola will have a more global approach with this year’s offering while the predecessor was mostly limited to the U.S. in the early days of its launch.
