HTC introduced the Sense 6.0 UI with the HTC One M8 which was claimed to be a massive shift from Sense 5.5 used in older devices. It is now being said that the company’s upcoming One M8 Prime handset could be the first to debut Sense 6.5 UI, which is reportedly a variation of Sense 6.0 as the name suggests.
There’s no word as to what’s exactly different with this new user interface, but we’re guessing HTC will merely improve the existing features such as BlinkFeed, Video Highlights, HTC Zoe and several others while the inclusion of newer apps or features doesn’t seem likely. We cannot rule out a complete visual refresh though.
As far as the hardware of the smartphone is concerned, the One M8 Prime is expected to come with a 5.5 inch Quad HD display, 3GB of RAM, a quad core 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 805 chipset and the familiar Duo Camera setup as revealed by a leak from yesterday. We expect to learn more about the One M8 Prime in the coming days.
The company is expected to launch the smartphone in August, so the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime and the LG G3 will be already available in the market by then.
