With almost every flagship smartphone available in the market now, all the talk is about the next-gen or the premium range of devices that these manufacturers are rumored to bring. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S5 Prime and LG has confirmed the arrival of the LG G3. And HTC too has been expected to launch a premium version of the M8 flagship with improved specs on board. A new rumor now hints that the Taiwanese manufacturer could make use of a ceramic casing for the device instead of the more expensive aluminum body.
The manufacturing is also reportedly more convenient and easy to produce for the company, so it seems to be ideal for the upcoming flagship. It is good to know however that HTC is trying to make some changes as far as quality of materials is concerned and not sticking to the formula that people are familiar with. But since this is only a rumor, we suggest you take it with a pinch of salt until there’s more confirmation coming our way.
The smartphone is rumored to pack a 5.5 inch 2K resolution display, a Snapdragon 805 chipset, an upgraded camera sensor, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4.2 KitKat, 16GB of storage with a microSD card slot and 4G LTE.
