Google Search for Android can now show rental car reservations

Google Search Update

Google has made a nifty little change to the Google Search app on Android with the ability to check rental car reservations. But this won’t appear as a conventional card on Google Now as users will have to manually ask through voice search for this card to show up. We’re guessing Google is trying to protect user privacy by only pulling out this info when asked for.

It is a pretty straightforward process really, as you can see from the screenshot above. It will provide all the timings as well as other details given to the company while booking the rental. It’s a pretty nifty addition, but might be limited to the U.S. for the time being.

The feature should be now live on all Android devices with Google Now, granted the latest version of Google Search is installed. Have you been able to make use of this feature? If yes, how do you like it? Make sure you let us know in the comments box below.
