Even though the Copper Gold version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 won’t make its way to American carriers until the 30th of May, AT&T has decided to list the variant on its website already. The pricing remains the same at $199.99 with a two year contract or $649.99 full retail and off contract.
The smartphone is also available through AT&T Next in 18 and 12 month installment plans starting from $25 per month. It’s surprising to see AT&T list the smartphone ahead of schedule, which suggests that maybe we’ll see other carriers launching the Copper Gold variant of the Samsung flagship sooner than expected.
It’s natural for Samsung to launch a new color variant of its flagship just a few weeks after its initial release, so this is not surprising. The company is also expected to launch the Electric Blue variant of the Galaxy S5, although carriers in the U.S. are yet to announce availability of that model.
