BLU Products has just announced its latest flagship offering packing a powerful hardware specs sheet and an attractive price tag. It’s good to see that a company which is mostly known for its midrange and low end products has finally launched a high end device.
The BLU Life Pure XL comes with a 5.5 inch 1080p display, a 16-megapixel camera on the back with an 8-megapixel front camera, a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with an Android 4.4 update on the horizon. Interestingly, the manufacturer is selling two different variants of the smartphone with one featuring lesser RAM and half the storage.
The top end variant which will cost $399 features 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM. The other variant is slightly cheaper at $349 but packs 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. The top end variant will be available starting tomorrow from Amazon while the 16GB model will be listed starting May 9. On the same day, the company will introduce blue and pink variants of the smartphone as well.
The pricing is very attractive for a smartphone of this caliber and we expect it to sell in large volumes when it hits Amazon tomorrow. There’s no word on whether the Life Pure XL will be sold from other retailers as well.
