Amazon now officially taking pre-orders for the LTE Moto G

Moto G LTE

With the Moto E and the LTE capable Moto G being the dominant news stories from yesterday, we’re now seeing Amazon USA listing the latter on pre-order for $219.99. The smartphone comes with 8GB of storage by default, but Motorola has been wise enough to pack a microSD card slot so that users can add extra storage if necessary. So considering the changes on board, we think the $220 price tag is well justified.

The release date is June 3, so you might have to wait a bit before finally getting the device in your hands, so make sure you register right away to grab a spot in the front line when the handset finally becomes available. As the listing mentions “Universal 4G LTE”, it is advised that you check with your carrier if they support the network bands available on the handset. It’s an unlocked GSM device obviously and you will need to add your own SIM card from a carrier of your choice.
