The 2014 Edition Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 on Verizon is now getting the Android 4.4 update. This comes just a week after the update was rolled out to global variants of the tablet. The tablet was launched last year alongside the Galaxy Note 3 but has only made its way to Verizon recently.
The update brings a few changes on board including some bug fixes and enhancements to stock features like the S Note widget as well as the Chrome browser. Other changes include the addition of Google’s Cloud Printing service with compatible printers which can now be enabled via the Settings.
Users will also see some performance improvements with multitasking now being upgraded. Also new is the Immersive Mode feature which lets users run apps in full screen mode, although it would technically only apply to devices with onscreen buttons.
The update should be rolled out in batches so you might not see it immediately. But if you have received the update already, make sure you drop a line below and let us know.
