Verizon Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 reaches the FCC

Galaxy Tab 4 FCC

The Verizon branded Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0 has just made its way to the FCC for certification. We saw the 7 and 10.1 inch variants from Verizon on the certification portal a few days ago, so this officially means that the carrier will carry all three Galaxy Tab 4 devices in the coming weeks.

The certification is merely an indicator of its existence, so we don’t have info on when the carrier will announce these new tablets. But given that they’re midrange offerings, we might not see Verizon waiting too long to launch them.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 comes with a 8 inch 1280 x 800 resolution display, a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 quad core CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable), a 3-megapixel camera on the back, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 4,450 mAh battery.

The Galaxy Tab 4 went official a couple of days ago after several leaks over the past few months, so it would be wise of Samsung to waste no time in bringing these tablets to the stores.
