The blazing fast tri-band LTE service from Sprint dubbed as Sprint Spark is now available in 6 new cities across the U.S. This enhanced LTE service can give users up to 60Mbps of download speeds, which is quite a lot compared to standard 4G LTE. The carrier claims that these speeds can be tripled in the near future thanks to spectrum acquisitions and the technology on offer.
Regions of Newark, New Jersey; Oakland, California; Orlando, Florida; Tacoma, Washington; Waukegan, Illinois; and West Palm Beach, Florida are the new regions to get support for Sprint Spark. The carrier plans to cover 100 million customers with the service by the end of the year.
In addition to these six cities, Sprint has expanded its standard 4G LTE networks with 41 new cities being added to the list. This expansion will now bring the carrier’s 4G LTE service to over 225 million customers across the U.S.
