Sprint’s MVNO, Boost Mobile, will get the Samsung Galaxy S5 next month according to a new press release. There’s no exact word of an arrival date or pricing at the moment, but expect the handset to cost full retail as Boost Mobile doesn’t offer devices on contract.
This will offer users another decent alternative to get the premier Samsung flagship in the U.S., which is great news for the consumers. Even though MVNOs like Boost Mobile don’t make up for a large number of users, there’s no denying that they do have a sizable impact on the sales of devices.
Going by the pricing of other carriers, the Boost Mobile Galaxy S5 should cost under $650 off contract, so it certainly won’t go easy on your wallets. There doesn’t seem to be a monthly installment program like the ones offered by major carriers, which is something to consider as well. Call rates and data plans are yet to be announced by the carrier. Hopefully, there won’t be any missing features on this variant of the Samsung flagship.
