Only yesterday we got our first glimpse of the back cover from the LG G3 which showed us the revamped rear buttons. A new revelation by Evleaks now gives us a better and closer look of the back keys showing the camera sensor, the buttons, the dual LED flash and the mystery opening on the back.
It is said that this could be an opening for a fingerprint scanner or maybe an IR Blaster, although there’s no confirmation of that yet. The rear buttons however have clearly received a redesign and now look more natural and should feel comfortable as well. So it seems like LG is learning from its mistakes.
The smartphone is expected to feature a 5.5 inch 2K resolution display, a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 chipset, a 13-megapixel camera with OIS+ technology, 3GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat. The company’s earnings call from earlier today confirmed the arrival of the LG G3 before the end of Q2, so we only have a few weeks to wait now.
