LG L90 Set For April 23 Release Date On T-Mobile

During the MWC 2014 LG announced its upcoming L Series III devices named the L40, L70, and L90. These are designed for the budget minded consumer who wants more features on a smartphone. Last February @evleaks gave us a sneak preview of the L90 that will be headed to T-Mobile. No further details were provided then other than the photo of the device.

A new internal document that got leaked reveals that T-Mobile will be releasing the L90 this coming April 23. No price has been mentioned yet however this device is expected to become a hit among consumers looking for a budget smartphone that has decent specs.

While nothing is official yet we may be hearing the news straight from T-Mobile anytime soon regarding this model.

The LG L90 has the best features of all the new L Series III devices. It sports a qHD resolution, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon, and already runs Android 4.4 KitKat. It does not support LTE however comes with 3G connectivity.

This body of this device is made of plastic however it does not feel cheap at all. It has a very solid build quality to it with no creaks.

LG announced that this device will have the Knock Code feature. This allows a user to specify a pattern of knocks to unlock the device. This is an added security feature that makes it difficult for anyone to get to the contents of your smartphone should you misplace it. This device will also be compatible with the LG Quick Window smart cover which allows users easy access to notifications without opening the cover.

Consumers who don’t want to spend a lot on flagship models might want to consider getting the LG L90.
