Every day seems to bring a new rumor or leak on the LG G3, with the latest scoop having revealed actual screenshots from LG’s upcoming flagship. Well, this day is no different – it looks like shops in China have already begun selling cases that are allegedly for the G3, and pictures of these cases have appeared online.
Since we’re considerably far from an official announcement of the G3 (it’s expected to be unveiled in late May or early June), this shouldn’t exactly be taken too seriously. But in case these are real, they indicate that the rear-mounted volume buttons that have permeated LG’s smartphone lineup since the LG G2 will be making a return on the G3. The cases also hint that should the G3 have a 5.5-inch display, the phone itself shouldn’t be much larger to hold compared to its predecessor and should be relatively easy to handle.
The LG G3 is expected to sport a QHD (2560×1440) display, a Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM, 13-megapixel camera, and even a fingerprint sensor.
