The LG G2 Mini will retail for just $310 in Asian markets

LG G2 Mini

The LG G2 Mini was announced back in February by the Korean manufacturer as a decent low cost alternative to the LG G2. Although the hardware inside was nowhere comparable to the one seen on the G2, the G2 Mini borrowed most of the design elements from its larger sibling. And now, a new listing from a retailer in Thailand has revealed that the smartphone will only cost 9,990 Thai Baht which is approximately $310indicating that it won’t go too heavy on the customers’ wallets.

The G2 Mini comes in 3G and 4G LTE variants, so the pricing might not remain consistent across the globe. The model shown here comes with a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 SoC, a 4.7 inch 960 x 540 resolution display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and a 2,440 mAh battery.

So for the hardware that’s on offer, an unlocked pricing of $310 seems very appropriate and LG will hope to sell the smartphone in large quantities. The smartphone will gradually begin rolling out to the rest of the world markets, with its reach currently limited to parts of Asia and Europe.
