Huawei is known for its devices like the recently launched Ascend Mate 2 and several other flagships. However, it seems like the Chinese manufacturer is working on a new handset with a premium all metal design, unlike most devices we’ve seen from the manufacturer. This leak shows the outer casing of the smartphone revealing a slot for something which looks very similar to a fingerprint scanner right under the camera sensor, just like the one on the HTC One Max.
The smartphone is said to be pretty well equipped in terms of hardware as well, with a Kirin 920 chipset and possibly a 1080p display. The leak from Weibo suggests that pricing might be quite high and is asking aspiring buyers to start saving up right away. We will keep a keen eye on this new flagship from Huawei and update you with more information as we have it. We’re assuming Huawei would want to bring this flagship outside China as well, considering the demand for premium looking devices in world markets.
