Huawei is set to officially unveil the successor to the Ascend P6, called the Ascend P7, this coming May 7 however as early as now its benchmark results have been leaked. Based on a leaked AntTuTu screenshot the device got a score of 24883 points. This result is lower than that of current flagship smartphone models which breaches the 30,000 point level however it is still a respectable score. Other bits of information that were gathered from the benchmark photo included some of the specifications of the Ascend P7. The device will be using the HiSilicon Kirin 910 processor made by Huawei. This is a quad-core processor based on the ARMv7 CPU instruction set and uses a big.LITTLE architecture using 1.8 GHz Quad-core ARM Cortex-A9. Graphics is being handled by the powerful Mali 450 MP GPU. This GPU doubles the performance of previous models while consuming less energy. It is able to handle 2K and even 4K image resolutions.
