Samsung has released information on US availability of its Galaxy Tab4 lineup of Android tablets, which was made official in early April. The Galaxy Tab4 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1 will be available in the country on May 1st, with preorders to begin tomorrow. The three tablets will be priced at $199.99, $269.99 and $349.99, respectively – only the Wi-Fi model will be launched initially, though all four major carriers will launch LTE variants in the summer.
The Galaxy Tab4 tablets are Samsung’s latest trio of mid-range tablets aimed at the budget markets. Each model comes with a 1280×800 display, quad-core 1.2GHz CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 3-megapixel and 2-megapixel rear and front-facing cameras, 16GB of on-board storage and a microSD slot (the 7-inch model also has an 8GB version), and Android 4.4 KitKat. Each tablet will be available in black and white color options, and the full press release can be found at the source link.
