Only yesterday we saw the first images of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom leak out and a new leak today has shed light on the hardware specs of the smartphone along with benchmark scores from AnTuTu. From the info available, it seems like Samsung has learnt its lesson from the past.
This camera + smartphone hybrid will reportedly pack a 4.8 inch 720p Super AMOLED display, a hexa core Exynos chipset with two high power Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz and four Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. Other specs include 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat as well as an IR blaster.
On the camera side of things, the Galaxy S5 Zoom will reportedly pack a 20.2-megapixel camera along with a Xenon flash as well as optical image stabilization or OIS. In terms of benchmark scores, the device scored 33,252 points which is better than many 2013 flagships. So overall, the Galaxy S5 Zoom appears to be a decent package, so we can expect this to be slightly more popular among customers compared to the predecessors.
