Acer A1-840 FHD Android Tablet Benchmark Result Spotted

Android tablets using Intel’s Bay Trail processors are slowly coming out into the market. Previously the benchmark result of the unannounced Acer A1-840 was spotted and just recently the benchmark result of an enhanced version called the Acer A1-840 FHD has also been spotted. This brings the total tablets that Acer will be releasing using Intel processors up to 3, the third one being the Iconia A1-830 using an Intel Atom Clover Trail+ processor.

So what’s the difference between the A1-840 and the A1-840 FHD? It appears that the latter model comes with a higher resolution display and more memory.

Based on the specifications both models have appears to be the same except for the display and the amount of RAM used. The A1-840 FHD has a better resolution of 1920×1200 pixels making it more suited for consumers who want to watch videos, view photos, or surf the web on their tablet. It also has more RAM which allows for a smoother user experience and faster multi-tasking.
