  1. You mean at least $50. 🙂 Even SNS is supposed to be too expensive, without the value for money. But I haven’t tried it yet.

  2. Beats is supposed to be good. But I never liked them, don’t know why! You should try Sony’s, you won’t regret.

  3. Interesting! I’m going to have to do some shopping around. Skullcandy may sound nice, but I’m not a huge fan of their designs. I may just have to take a risk and grab Sony’s earphones. 😉

  4. Apple has an upper hand compared to Sony IMO. But there are better earphones than Apple’s. I love the Skullcandy pairs that I have. Also, the Sennheiser headphones are not bad, but they need to have a bit more bass.

  5. Yeah, Apple also has been very good with their earphones. I really liked the pair that ship with the iPhone 5S. They are really good.

  6. Even I’ve heard from some people that Sony has sold its consumer electronics unit and is concentrating only on the medical electronics unit.

  7. Base? Did you mean bass? If so, there’s no doubt there’s enough bass. Sony knows what they’re doing when it comes to headphones.

  8. I agree, when it comes to audio, Sony is, one of, if not the best top dog in the industry. Can’t wait to see what these are like.

  9. Sony is definitely one of the best when it comes to audio technologies, however, Apple’s Earpods are really amazing too. Wonder what Sony’s are like compared to it.

  10. Not too big on the headphones, but the earphones look pretty wicked. However, I can’t see them beating Apple’s Earpods, as those things are wondrous. We’ll see.

  11. I have a lot of headphones and earphones from different brands. Sony is also one of the best in the lot. I’ve always loved Sony’s music systems.

  12. So many positive comments about Sony headphones. I think its time to give the brand a try. And that too with the new headphone series made for smartphones. I hope they live up to the expectations.

  13. Actually, the consumer electronics division of the company has already been sold to another company. I read about it at least a year back.

  14. Well said. but I’ve heard Sony is losing money in its other businesses. Hopefully they can stay in business and continue to give us quality products in the future.

  15. Sony had been my top pick for affordable but quality headsets. They always seem to make good ones at a discount.
    Good job Sony.

  16. I agree, these people always make really good music systems, not only headphones. But now that these are made specifically for smartphones, have to see the difference.

  17. Sony makes good headphones. I agree. And these look very new age. I hope they have enough base.

  18. I have three MDR series headphones, two are almost 3 years old, and the other is at least 7 years old. They still rock my world. I’m not able to find a worthy replacement for these. Sony is just awesome in this department.
