Nexus 5 And Nexus 7 Expand Into 8 New European Countries

Nexus 5 LG

Google really went all out on releasing products yesterday. In addition to rolling the Chromecast out internationally, they also launched the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 in new countries as well.

Both devices are available in these countries, not just one or the other. Here is the list of new countries where these devices are now available:

  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Ireland
  • Netherlands
  • Portugal
  • Sweden

The final prices vary slightly because of shipping, but the base prices will be the same:

  • 16 GB Nexus 5 – 349€
  • 32 GB Nexus 5 – 399€
  • 16 GB Nexus 7 – 269€
  • 32 GB Nexus 7 – 299€

Unfortunately, the LTE Nexus 7 did not expand to these new countries yet. That is most likely due to the device having to be approved by the various carriers and governing bodies in these countries. But hopefully soon it will be available. Now if you want a Nexus 5 or Nexus 7, go ahead and get it.

  1. Wow! I din’t know these countries till did not have access to Nexus devices locally. I think its a bit too late for the launch of the Nexus 7 tablet. They should have done it much earlier.
