New leak sheds light on the processor, camera and the battery of the All New HTC One

New HTC One

Earlier in the day, a leak from Australia revealed the Duo Camera from the All New HTC One, with the second camera aiding better focus shots and 3D image effects. A new leak has now shared details on other aspects of the device including the user interface as well as some hardware specs of the upcoming flagship.

As per this rumor, the smartphone will run on the quad core Snapdragon 801 chipset with a clock speed of 2.3 GHz and will feature a 5 inch 1080p display, 16GB of internal storage (10GB usable) with a microSD card slot as well a 5 megapixel front facing camera. The handset will reportedly feature 1/3.0-inch, f/2.0 aperture, 2µm pixel size sensors on the back although no word was given on the actual resolution of the rear cameras.

Some other software features are being spoken about as well, courtesy of the new Sense 6.0 UI on board. The All New HTC One will reportedly launch with a feature called Motion Launch, which will allow users to perform certain motion or gesture based actions. The most interesting of these features is the ability to directly answer calls by holding the phone against your ear, instead of having to swipe or press a button first.

Other features include a LG KnockOn like double tap to wake up feature and a motion sweep gesture which will directly take users to the BlinkFeed homescreen or any other user determined application. This can be achieved by a swiping gesture on the display when it is off.

The smartphone is another two weeks away from launch, but it seems like most of the surprise will be given away by then. What’s your take on these new leaks?
