LG G Pad 8.3 With LTE To Launch Exclusively On Verizon on March 6th

The original LG G Pad 8.3 with only Wifi was released a few months back, with a Google Play Edition shortly following it. Now, if you want Verizon, you’ll be able to get an LTE model of the G Pad 8.3.

On March 6th, you’ll be able to either walk into a Verizon and pick it up or purchase this tablet online. And for the first five days, Verizon is offering a special discount for buyers of the G Pad. On a two year contract, the tablet will only cost $99.99, but after March 10th it will cost $199.99 on a contract.

And if you want to buy the LG G Pad 8.3 off-contract, it will cost $299.99. That’s less than the Wifi-only version of the tablet, which costs $349.99. Even if you weren’t planning on getting an LTE model you should look at this price, since you don’t know if you would ever need LTE or not.

  1. I wonder why Apple is still the tablet leader at this time when almost other makers have superior specs like this one.
I still love my older Samsung Note though.

  2. It is an idea. I’ve never rooted or flashed a ROM on a tablet before, though. I’ve always been worried that I’ll do something wrong, break it, thus losing quite a chunk of money.

  3. Why don’t you try CyanogenMod? I’m pretty sure there will be a CM build for this tablet as well. I’m guessing CM 11 even.

  4. Can’t I get LTE on the Play Store edition of this tablet? I’ve been eyeing that tablet for sometime now, along with a few other tablets.

  5. Looks great, Matt! Personally, I’d love to have a tablet like this. The specs are pretty dang awesome, but once you add LTE in the mix, this thing is awesome! Unfortunately, I can not handle LG’s UI. It’s way too crowded for me. :-
