AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 going up for pre-order tomorrow: Confirms pricing of Gear 2 and Gear Fit

Galaxy S5

The Samsung Galaxy S5 will be up for pre-order tomorrow via AT&T for $199.99 with a two year contract. The model being offered here comes with 16GB of storage, but that’s not much of a hindrance as it sports a microSD card slot. Customers can also buy the smartphone through the AT&T Next monthly installment program. The carrier is offering an 18 month installment scheme which will cost $25 per month, while the 12 month AT&T Next scheme will set you back by $32.50 every month.

Customers can also get the phone off contract for $649.99, which is a valid option if you don’t like signing a lengthy contract. The carrier is offering white and black models at launch with no word on the gold and blue variant as of yet. Customers who purchase a Galaxy S5 via AT&T until the 5th of June will receive a $50 discount on the Gear 2 and Gear Fit smartwatches, which is a nice little bonus for customers of the carrier.

The Samsung Gear 2 has been priced at $299 in the U.S., while the Gear Fit and the Gear 2 Neo will set you back by $199. So if you buy a Galaxy S5 from AT&T before the aforementioned date, you can get the smartwatches for $249 and $149 respectively. AT&T is yet to make the pre-order page live, but it should be up by tomorrow.

  1. The Gear Fit for $149 sounds good. But it would have been if it was on Android. And $650 for the unlocked Galaxy S5 is a waste of money.

  2. The Gear Fit sounds interesting, not sure how well Samsung has probably done with it, though. Just give me that to play with, forget the S4 and Gear 2. 😉
