  1. Amazon already is one of the biggest online retail stores, and this Appstore is just one other part of it. But yeah, freebies will definitely attract more business.

  2. So true. I love freebies and even great sales. This makes Amazon look really good. I think they think it will get more people to buy from them. I know it did me. Give me something for free and I i will use your store more often.

  3. I caught this a week ago. I was able to get mSecure. I am so excited. I am terrible with remembering passwords, now I don’t have to. My kids downloaded three or four of the games too. I love freebies.

  4. What is Ski Safari, I’ve never heard of it? That’s great that they are providing some apps for free, Happy Birthday Amazon! I love Fruit Ninja but haven’t tried the one in the post.

  5. Exactly. I tried a few of those. They are really good. Even a discount would have been good. But giving them away for free was just awesome!

  6. I was on the hunt for SpinArt so I’m excited. I love games too. My kids love games too. They are going to be so happy when they see them. I think I will download them tonight when they are in bed,

  7. I was pretty excited to see games too. These are games that are great too. Usually the free games are games that no one wants to play. My kids will love this. I’m pretty pumped!

  8. I have it too and it runs perfectly fine. It’s just an app that you need to install. I was a bit scared at first but just did it. I have had no problems.

  9. Ski Safari and SpinArt will be the two that I download. My kids will love to play both of these. I’m pretty excited that they are free! How long will this be going on? I might even get the Battle Maiden game.

  10. Yes. Amazon’s app is available in Google Play but I haven’t actually installed it.
I have Amazon’s Kindle app on my phone though and it runs perfectly.

  11. I hate that I missed this! I wonder if these apps are still on sale today. I’d love to have the Runtastic and Monopoly apps.

  12. Wow! I din’t know about this. I’m downloading a few games right away. Awesome offer.

  13. Nice to see such offers from Amazon as well. I din’t know the company does this. But Google always gives away apps. And seeing games on the list is good. 🙂

  14. I love that Amazon brings out random specials but this is the Applestore, who is to say any of the list above will help me when I don’t run iOS anymore. I really wish more places would push out deals for all users rather than just one niche only.

  15. Same here. How come this is the first I hear about this? Thanks for the information Valerie, I’m going to check it out. It would be nice to get some new games on my phone, especially discounted or free.

  16. I shop on Amazon all of the time and I am just finding out about this. We love games and I love them being free (or sometimes even disconnected). Two of these games I was already on the hunt for. Thanks!
