The HTC M8 is scheduled for a late March announcement in New York City and a new leak has now revealed a possible mini variant of this flagship. According to Evleaks, the HTC M8 Mini could launch subsequently just like the HTC One Mini was unveiled last year. The renowned Twitter source has been fortunate enough to have a specs sheet to share with us as well. And from the looks of it, HTC hasn’t learnt from its past mistakes.
The rumored specs sheet hints at a 4.5 inch 720p display, 1GB of RAM, a 13MP camera, 16GB of storage, Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6.0 and onscreen navigation buttons. This is slightly underwhelming for a Mini device and is certainly not impressive. Sony has been smart in this regard as the Xperia Z1 Compact is basically a shrunken down version of the Xperia Z1 flagship, with not a lot different apart from the size. We’re hoping HTC will share more details on the M8 Mini during the big unveiling next month, so take this new revelation with a pinch of salt until then.
