The Sony Xperia Sirius ‘D6503’ has just been spotted posing alongside the Xperia Z1 and the Xperia Z in a fresh leak. The smartphone is expected be launched on the 24th of February during the MWC event, so there’s roughly 10 days left for the big reveal. It’s commonplace for an upcoming smartphone to leak out before its official announcement, so we’ll take whatever we get at this point.
The design of the smartphone remains very similar to previous Xperia flagships, which means that there’s that unnecessary bezel space on the bottom and the top. The smartphone is reported to pack a 5.2 inch display, but still looks about the same size as the Xperia Z1, which is perhaps the only consolation in terms of design.
We saw a recent leak reveal support for 4K video recording on the smartphone, so hardware wise the Xperia Sirius is going to be one of the top cameraphones in the market with its 20.7MP sensor. The smartphone is also expected to feature a Snapdragon 800 SoC, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 1080p resolution display.
