The recently announced Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 and the Galaxy TabPRO tablets are now available for purchase in the U.S. off contract and unlocked from several popular retailers. Amazon, Newegg, Best Buy and most other retailers have officially started sales of the popular Samsung tablets. As expected, these tablets aren’t going to go easy on your wallets. The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is only available in the 32GB configuration at the moment and costs a whopping $749.99. The 10.1 inch Galaxy TabPRO (16GB) costs $499.99, while the 16GB Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 costs $399.99 although it’s only available in White at the moment.
All three tablets carry 2560 x 1600 resolution displays, 3GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera, the Samsung Exynos 5 Octa chip (no LTE) and Android 4.4 KitKat. Carriers in the U.S. are expected to launch the 4G LTE capable variants of these tablets soon, so it might be wise to wait until those variants arrive if you’re looking for data usage on the go. The storage limitations on the tablets shouldn’t be a concern at all as all the PRO tablets carry support for microSD card slots under the hood, so you can expand storage whenever needed.
