Sprint has officially begun the rollout of the Android 4.4 update for its variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 starting today. Only yesterday the U.S. Cellular variant started getting the update, so this was along expected lines.
If you own a Sprint branded Galaxy Note 3, make sure you head over to the Settings menu on your smartphone and check for an update manually. The update is quite big as it brings along a plethora of changes compared to Android 4.3, so make sure you’re on a Wi-Fi network before beginning the download. If you’re having no luck getting the update notification, you can also try pulling an update manually by connecting your smartphone to Samsung Kies through your computer.
The update will bring some S-Pen specific tweaks on board, in addition to the standard Android 4.4 related core features. Expect to see a few Sprint specific updates on board as well with performance enhancements. Hit the source link below for more on the update.
