The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo recently went official in Poland for an undisclosed price. Today, the smartphone has gone up for sale in Indonesia through local retailer Indokom. The smartphone is priced at 6,799,000 Indonesian Rupiah or $557 which isn’t too expensive considering the hardware on board. It was initially believed that the smartphone would cost as much as the Galaxy Note 3, but that’s clearly not the case, at least in Indonesia. Looking at the price tag, we cannot rule out an American launch either.
It is clear that Samsung wants to target the midrange markets with the Galaxy Note 3 Neo. Although it’s not as cheap as conventional midrange smartphones, the fact that it borrows most of the software features from the Galaxy Note 3 will certainly convince buyers. The smartphone packs a 5.5 inch 720p display, a one of a kind hexa-core Exynos 5260 chip set, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and a 3,100 mAh battery.
