Samsung has just reconfirmed the arrival of the Galaxy S5 flagship this Monday with its new ‘The Next Galaxy’ ad posted on YouTube. This ad which acts as a teaser for Monday’s Unpacked event doesn’t give away a lot in terms of details, but repeatedly mentions the number ‘5’ as the video progresses, which is a clear hint at what’s to come. The Galaxy S5 is still a mystery to the most of us as there have been conflicting reports published on the internet over the past several weeks regarding the hardware specifications.
Initial rumors claimed that the smartphone will launch with an industry topping 5.25 inch QHD 2K resolution AMOLED display accompanied by a 20MP camera, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chip, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 3,000 mAh battery. But it was later believed that the smartphone will only launch the 1080p variant of the smartphone initially due to shortage in 2K display panels. So we’re not sure what to expect from the event next week, but it is clear that there will be a lot of surprises packed for us.
The Korean manufacturer is also rumored to unveil the new Galaxy Tab 4 tablets during the course of the event.
