The Verizon bound Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has just leaked out in a press render, hinting at its imminent arrival through the carrier. Verizon will reportedly be the first carrier in the U.S. to carry the tablet, so it is almost an exclusive in the region. The tablet is expected to launch later this quarter with no specific information available as of yet. As the MWC is approaching, we can expect Samsung to shed light on its plans to unleash the NotePRO and the TabPRO tablets in the U.S.
The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is the company’s first performance oriented tablet with a high end specs sheet and software identical to the Galaxy Note 3. It is essentially a bigger Galaxy Note 3 with the added advantage of having all the extra screen real estate to make use of. Coupled with 4G LTE in the U.S., the tablet could prove to be a hot seller and might even give the iPads a run for their money. The Verizon variant of the tablet recently made its way to the FCC and Bluetooth SIG, so it’s not the first time we’re hearing of this variant.
