A new leak from Russia has revealed the much rumored dual camera setup of the HTC M8. As expected, the smartphone has a second camera sensor above the standard position, hinting at a 3D or a macro shot camera. The smartphone is expected to launch later next month, so we can hope for newer leaks to shed light on other features of the smartphone.
It is claimed that the smartphone will closely resemble the HTC One as far as looks go, but the hardware underneath could be slightly revamped. The display is expected to be bumped to 5 inch with the resolution remaining the same (1080p) and the chipset could be upgraded to Snapdragon 800 in place of the now outdated Snapdragon 600 SoC. The front facing stereo speakers known as BoomSound could be upgraded as well. Going by the leaks so far, we don’t think the smartphone will be a massive surprise in the industry, although the dual camera arrangement has garnered enough interest already.
