Motorola introduced the $70 off promo on unlocked Moto X variants yesterday as a Valentine’s Day special. The company has now announced the extension of this discount promo until next Saturday on the 22nd of February. This includes the 16 and 32GB unlocked variants ($329.99 and $379.99) as well as the Developer Edition variant of the smartphone. The extension of this promo will probably convince you to get the smartphone if you’ve ever been held back by the pricing.
Users can customize their Moto X down to every detail using the Moto Maker free of charge but will have to shell out an extra $25 for wooden variants. Although the smartphone is almost six months old, there is enough demand thanks largely to promos like these. Motorola can expect to move more units of the smartphone with discount offers as the smartphone reaches its end of life status in a few months.
The Moto X is slowly making its way to markets outside the U.S. as well, which is good news for global customers. However, the pricing has been revealed to be quite expensive compared to the U.S.
